\data\cauc\cezet
Proto-Tsezian: *ha-/*ho-
North Caucasian etymology: North Caucasian etymology
Meaning: a deictic stem
Tsezi: ho-w-da
Ginukh: ha-go
Khvarshi: a-w-du (Radzhibov)
Inkhokvari: a-we-du,o-we-nu
Bezhta: hu-gi,ho-go
Gunzib: ǝ-g, o-gu
Comments: The stem is used only in conjunction with other demonstrative pronouns. Variants *ha-/*ho-/*ʔa-/*ʔo- are present, and although they may go back to different EC stems (with *h- and with *ʔ-) it is very hard to separate them from each other within Tsezian. A front vowel counterpart *ʔe- (ʔẽ-) is present in PTs *ʔẽ-du 'inside' (Tsez. idu 'at home', Khvarsh. ĩdu 'inside', Bezht. Tlad. ẽdö, Khosh. edo, Gunz. ẽdu) = PA *ħi-nV.
