Comment: The Ag. and Bud. words are hard to separate; in view of the external evidence the Ag. meaning must be secondary (through an intermediate meaning like "clitoris" - cf. analagous semantic shifts in the root *ḳħǝlč̣V). With expressive irregularities cf. also Tab. Düb. baIt:aj 'vagina (of a girl)'.
