Comments: A complicated case. The PTsKh form may be reconstructed as *ʔǝʁ-ʁʷVdǝ, where the second component is most likely equal to *ʁʷǝdǝ 'rain' (cf. analogous compounds "sweat"+"water" or "sweat"+"liquid" in PWC, see *ɦămƛ̣ă). In this case, the PGB form, reconstructed as *hɔ̃d, must also be a contraction < *ʔɔ̃hɔ̃d(V) < *ʔǝ̃ʁ:+ʁ:ʷǝdǝ (the second component normally reflected in PGB as *wǝdǝ q.v.), thus suggesting nasalisation of the first component *ʔǝ̃ʁ:.
