Lezghian etymology :

Proto-Lezghian: *q:VlVq:
North Caucasian etymology: North Caucasian etymology
Meaning: egg
Agul: ʁIaraʁal
Rutul: ʁɨlɨʁ
Udi: qoqla
Comment: Pharyngealization in Ag. is secondary (cf. dial. ʁuraʁal), but a precise reconstruction of vowels is hardly possible (because of the disyllabic root structure and expressive semantics). In Ud. qoqla is Gukasyan's transcription; the MSU recording is qok:la (either a dissimilation, or a misspelling).

Proto-North Caucasian: *q_wVɫVq̇V ( / *q_wVq̇VɫV)
Meaning: egg; grain
Proto-Tsezian: *qõq-lV
Proto-Dargwa: *q:ulq̇i
Proto-Lezghian: *q:VlVq:
Notes: Reconstructed for the PEC level. The semantic shift 'grain' <> 'seed, egg' is rather frequent, and the etymology seems reliable both phonetically and semantically. The most archaic phonetic shape (with two different consonants) is preserved in Darg.; in Lezg. and PC the first consonant was assimilated to the second one. There is not enough evidence to reconstruct vowels in this root.

Proto-Tsezian: *qõq-lV
North Caucasian etymology: North Caucasian etymology
Meaning: egg
Gunzib: qõqla
Comments: Attested only in Gunzib. If, however, we take into account the meaning "grain" of some related forms (cf., e.g., Dargwa), we could also relate here Gin. qeqe "porridge; gruel" - with a possible reconstruction PTs *qʷɨ̃qV B ( ~ -ẽ-).
