    In Akhvakh the root serves also for building quantor pronouns (čubi-da, čuga-dala 'all' etc.).

Vart. ema, Nidzh. hema is partially contaminated with another PL interrogative stem, *ha-/*hi- q.v.). A loan from Lezg. is probably Khin. sam 'how many'.
