I enjoyed depeche mode. unlike some 80's one hit wonders who faded away depeche mode are the cool new wave hit with dark lyrics and catchy synth pop! dave gahan's voice is beautiful and the girls love him for it. of course they are a singles band and the albums are good! speak and spell has just can't get enough. a broken frame and construction time again are underrated records. some great reward and black celebration are great goth records. but the best records are music for the masses and violator. I really liked enjoyed the silence. addictive stuff, george. really addictive stuff!.

You are saying "Pipeline ... normally, it's not a track that Depeche Mode fans love". Hey, I knew many people in late 80s - early 90s that had this sond among their favourites. All in all, it is a great song, if not the best on the album. They even have called the album Construction time again which is a line from the lyrics on "Pipeline".
