Burmese: laŋh be bright, clear, transparent.
Kachin: leŋ3 be light, bright.
Lushai: liŋ (lin) be red-hot, be aglow.
Lepcha: lóŋ, a-lóŋ reflective light
Comments: Gong 73. Cf. also Karen *kloN.1L, Miju kɨ-lauŋ 'green'; here probably also the BG word for 'moon', *jVŋ (Dimasa da-iŋ, Garo ja-joŋ). Cf. *ƛŏŋ. Cf. PAA *laŋ 'clean, transparent', Tai *la:ŋ 'to clean'.
