\data\nostr\nostret
Eurasiatic: *ŋVk[čw]V
Meaning: part of nose
Borean: Borean
Indo-European: *nās-, *năs-
Altaic: *ŋi̯àkča
Uralic: *ńaŋkće (cf. also *wenčV 'face')
Kartvelian: *ničw- (? Georg. nesṭo 'nostril'; ? *niḳ- 'nose, chin' )
Dravidian: *mūnǯ- [what about *mok- 'face'?)
Eskimo-Aleut: *Naʁcǝ-ɣ- (~ -ʁic- ?)
Comments: Cf. also PDR *ńjáŋaḷ "tongue, uvula, palate" (esp. considering the Uralic form). Expected *ś in Ur. Drav. *mūŋ- should rather be compared with PA *méŋa 'face, shape' and PIE *mū- 'lips, muzzle' (PA-PIE suggested by V. Glumov). Cf. also Aleut anʁusin, anuχsiχ 'nose'.
References: ND 1646 *ŋäqaŝa 'nose' (Alt-IE + Sem.).
