Notes :Initial *je- tentatively reconstructed on the basis of the correspondence "PSDR *a- : Telugu *e-" (cf. similarly PDR *jed_- 'to know'). At least two different stems have to be postulated for PDR: monosyllabic *jeẓ- (> SDR, Telugu, possibly PKG) as well as bisyllabic *jeẓái- (> SDR, PGn, possibly PKG). // Present in 4/6 branches.
