A common Lezghian derivate is *ṭil: Lezg. c̣il (Khl. c̣il), Tab. č̣il (lit. ṭil, Düb. ṭil), Ag. ṭil 'thick rope', Arch. ṭili ( < *ṭilV-j) 'crossbelt, baldric'.
