Proto-Korean: *kɨ́irjǝ́kí ( ~ *kɨ́rjǝ́kí)
Meaning: goose
Russian meaning: гусь
Modern Korean: kirǝgi
Middle Korean: kɨ́irjǝ́kí, kɨ̀rjǝ̀kí, kɨrǝki, kìrǝ̀kí
Comments: Nam 66, 67, 76, Liu 96, 97, 109, 113, KED 264. The variant kɨ́irjǝ́kí is attested later than kɨrjǝki, but accounts well for the modern form with -i- (regularly < -ɨi-). The most plausible PK reconstruction appears to be *kɨ́irǝ́kí (although *kɨ́rjǝ́kí is also not excluded).
